Russell Cole is an agriculture technology entrepreneur and expert who is passionate about reducing waste and putting more food into the supply chain, while earning farmers more money. His work began in organic amendments, where he certified, branded and labelled rare and unique soil inputs derived from bug excrement and volcanic rock dust to help farmers of high value crops. This experience gave Russell first hand knowledge of where improvements could be made in the AgTech space, which led to his conclusion that a data science and informatics must be leveraged in order for farmers to meet the needs of our growing population. To this end, Russell has built AGXactly Crop Insights – an AgTech informatics platform that incorporates its own proprietary algorithms, providing farmers with critical information in rapid fashion and massively impacting their bottom line and the entire farming value chain.
