Doug Erickson is the Executive Director of Santa Cruz Works a regional non-profit that empowers local businesses and entrepreneurs through skills-building, funding, jobs, networking, events, and a weekly newsletter with over 11,000 subscribers.

In addition to founding Santa Cruz Works in 2007, Mr. Erickson has enjoyed a 35-year tech career in leadership roles for companies like WebEx / Cisco, and SugarCRM, managing sales teams, partner alliances, and global expansion. He has conducted hundreds of sales trainings for employees and partners with Tony Hughes, author of RSVP Selling and LinkedIn’s #1 sales blogger.  Prior to tech, Mr. Erickson founded Fleetwood / Surftech – a windsurf company – that grew to #2 in the world.

Mr. Erickson is an English and Latin Literature graduate from UCSC, and did post graduate studies at the Université de Poitiers. He enjoys helping his community, mountain bike riding, surfing, kitesurfing, and drone photography.
