Carbon fiber layup at Joby Aviation

This project is supported by generous funding from the James Irvine Foundation – Priority Communities Initiative. Working in close collaboration with Joby Aviation, this project is focused on piloting an advanced manufacturing workforce development apprenticeship program to meet the current and projected future needs of the Joby Marina Manufacturing facility.

The program is offering paid apprenticeships for workers interested in upskilling or reskilling from related “makers” experiences in crafts such as carpentry, auto maintenance and repair, sewing, boat maintenance and repair, and a host of other hands on trades. If you are interested in learning more and applying for these limited space apprenticeships please follow the link below and complete the application form.
