Coronavirus Update

Like everyone else, we are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. For now, the DroneCamp and Monterey Bay DART Symposium are proceeding as planned.

Whether we hold the events with extra precautions, move to online options, or cancel, we will follow all guidelines from relevant city, county, state, and federal agencies, and the health and safety offices of the UC and CSU systems. CSU Monterey Bay has canceled most campus events through April 24, and most campuses are setting guidelines for ~2 months in advance.

In the event we have to cancel the DroneCamp and Monterey Bay DART Symposium, all registrations fees will be fully refunded with no penalty. We therefore encourage interested persons to register, and remind everyone that the final deadline for payment of DroneCamp registration fees is 30 days before the start of the program (i.e., May 22, 2020). We would also advise participants to be thoughtful about booking accommodation that requires an upfront non-refundable payment.

As more information becomes available, we will continue to post updates via the website and emails to people who have registered.
